Sinoway Forest participates in greening of the Sahara Desert in Africa

In November, Wang Xinpeng, the General Manager of Sinoway Forest, led a team to cooperate with the Xinjiang Institute of Geography, Chinese Academy of Sciences to visit the Islamic Republic of Mauritania in Africa to discuss aerial seeding afforestation technology and aerial seeding display work in the Sahara Desert of Africa, in order to prepare for the early technical preparations for large-scale assistance in greening the African Green Great Wall project in the future.

On the 28th, team from Sinoway Forest visited the Chinese Embassy in Mauritania and presented a detailed work plan to the embassy counselor.

Cooperate with the Xinjiang Institute of Geography, Chinese Academy of Sciences to participate in work exchanges with the Ministry of Environmental Protection of Mauritania.

Focus on COP16: Sinoway Forest Signs Memorandum for the Construction of 10,000 Hectares of Carbon Sink Forests in Mauritania

On December 3rd, at the 16th Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Convention to Combat Desertification (UNCCD COP16) held in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, Sinoway Forest Technology Co., Ltd., the Xinjiang Institute of Ecology and Geography of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, the Ministry of Environment and Sustainable Development of Mauritania, and the Mauritania National Agency for the Great Green Wall of Africa jointly signed a four-party memorandum of understanding to cooperate on sand control and carbon sink forest construction projects.

All proceeds from the project will continue to be used for global desertification control and sustainable ecological sustainable restoration
