On December 3rd, at the 16th Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Convention to Combat Desertification (UNCCD COP16) held in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, Sinoway Forest Technology Co., Ltd., the Xinjiang Institute of Ecology and Geography of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, the Ministry of Environment and Sustainable Development of Mauritania, and the Mauritania National Agency for the Great Green Wall of Africa jointly signed a four-party memorandum of understanding to cooperate on sand control and carbon sink forest construction projects.

On November 24th, the 29th Conference of the Parties (COP29) to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change successfully concluded in Baku, Azerbaijan. This conference attracted participants from numerous countries and organizations worldwide, aiming to promote climate finance, accelerate emission reduction efforts, and especially support developing countries. The delegation consisting of Sinoway Forest Technology Co., Ltd. and experts from the Xinjiang Institute of Ecology and Geography, Chinese Academy of Sciences actively participated in various agendas of the conference and achieved fruitful results.
