SinowayForest has joined hands with EGA to start ecological restoration work

On April 23, Liu Tao, the chairman of the company, Liang Baochang, the general manager of Shandong branch's laboratory, Jiang Quan, the senior manager of overseas sales department, and the expert team of Xinjiang Institute of Ecology and Geography, Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS), flew to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) to participate in the aerial seeding project jointly promoted by Sinoway Forest and EGA, marking a substantial step forward in the cooperation between Sinoway Forest and EGA in the field of ecological environmental protection. It also highlights the positive role of the Xinjiang Institute of Ecology and Geography in promoting international ecological cooperation among enterprises and promoting global ecological environmental improvement.

In the following days, they formed an investigation team with EGA representatives and jointly went to the desert areas of the UAE. They conducted in-depth studies on the local topography, vegetation distribution, and rainfall conditions, and made detailed records of the types, growth habits, and distribution ranges of drought-resistant plants in the desert.During this period, the three parties held several seminars, and experts provided comprehensive technical guidance and suggestions on the aerial seeding plan. After continuous discussions and revisions, the specific plan for aerial seeding was finally determined, including key parameters such as seed selection, sowing time, and sowing density.

According to the plan, the aerial seeding afforestation demonstration work will officially start in September this year. Then, drones and other modern technologies will be used to sow carefully selected drought-resistant vegetation seedballs into selected areas. These seedballs will take root and grow in the desert, gradually improving the local ecological environment.

As an efficient, rapid, and low-cost greening method, aerial seeding has significant advantages in ecological restoration. The Xinjiang Institute of Ecology and Geography, CAS, has gathered top experts in the fields of ecology and environmental science, playing an important role in technical support and scientific research leadership in this project.
